Allegory is the representation of spiritual, moral, or other abstract meanings through the actions of characters in a story. I have approached the story of God calling Moses to free the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt as an allegory depicting God’s burning desire in each of us that refuses to be extinguished! Please bear with me and turn aside to consider your burning desire and the voice that comes out of it.
